2019 Broncos Offseason Road Map

Another year, another season of missed expectations for the Broncos. Where do John Elway and the Broncos need to go to prevent a repeat of this in 2019? Here's where I recommend going with respect to roster decisions.Read more...

Contractual Details Regarding Emmanuel Sanders

Emmanuel Sanders suffered a debilitating Achilles tendon tear late in the 2018 season--one that could put his full availability for 2019 in doubt. Next year also features the last year of his current contract. What facts regarding this should the Broncos and its observers be aware of?Read more...

Examining A Possible Contract Extension For Shane Ray Or Shaq Barrett

Von Miller is the Broncos' best and highest paid player. The team also used this year's 5th overall pick on Bradley Chubb. If all goes to plan, they will be the starting edge rushers in Denver for many years to come. Is there room for Shane Ray or Shaq Barrett on a vested veteran deal to play the #3 position? I believe there is, but doing so will have to be on terms that may not be fully satisfactory to either player.Read more...

What would be an appropriate offer to get a player of Paradis's reliability to remain in Denver for more years to come?Read more...

The opportunity is there for him to move on to the next level not only on the field, but to the bank. What type of vested veteran contract could await him?Read more...

I think the Broncos should have interest in offering three extensions among these four players (since Ray and Barrett play the same position). However, as always it will be a challenge to get such deals down on satisfactory grounds for all parties. Before training camp I hope to explain how these can get done. But before I get to each player, let's start with a few general factors.Read more...
